Mourinho not ready to coach Portugal

Jose Mourinho will not be able to take temporary charge of the Portuguese national team, the Real Madrid coach said on Friday.
Portugal offered Mourinho their vacant managerial seat for next month's EURO 2012 qualifiers against Denmark and Iceland.
The struggling side want to replace Carlos Queiroz, who was sacked after being handed a six-month suspension for insulting anti-doping agents before the World Cup.
"For personal pride and passion for Portugal I couldn't say no but I can't say yes either," Portuguese Mourinho, who was appointed as Real boss after steering Inter Milan to an unprecedented treble last season, told a news conference.
"My sense is that in the Real Madrid world it would have been interpreted negatively.
"There would have to be total agreement and I don’t think that’s going to happen.
"Real Madrid has every right to make the decision they have. For me the issue is finished."
The Spanish giants drew with Mallorca and defeated Osasuna in their first two league games under the guidance of Mourinho.
They also beat Dutch side Ajax 2-0 in their opening Champions League group stage clash.
